Thanks to Tony, Sue, and everyone else involved

Postby Rick » Thu Feb 28, 2008 11:59 am

I just thought I'd use post 1000 to thank Tony, Sue, and everyone involved in the site, and to point out what a great job they've done in such a short time. 1000 posts with a userbase of over 300 in, what, a month and a bit?! Impressive.

Many thanks for your efforts.

I must agree with darling Rick. I didn't join until the new site was up & running but it is great! Cheers to all who had a hand in designing, etc! :D

Thanks Rick and Neesie, you're very kind! I have to say that Tony is the one that deserves the credit for setting up such a fabulous site and he has continued to maintain it, which obviously takes a lot of time and effort. I am sure I speak for us both though when I say that we are very grateful to all our members, especially those who have contributed to the forums, giving helpful information and advice to others. It is great to see how the CAH community are willing to support and help others, drawn together by the unique bond of this rare and sometimes confusing condition!

I find it very encouraging to hear from adults like yourselves, Eleanor, Derman, Annie and all the other adults who have posted, who have obviously not let CAH rule your lives. It proves to us all that our children can and will lead 'normal' lives (whatever 'normal' may be!)

Ditto Sue's comments about the members - it's alright having a site that offers static information but is so much nicer to have a community of people that are able and willing to support those more needy than themselves. 1000 milestone achieved by you guys :)
