Hi Tony,

I am having a menopause moment (again) so would appreciate it if you could explain the following to me -

If I want to post a reply by including a quote from another post or forum how do I do it?
I am guessing (although probably incorrectly, as I said I am having a menopause moment :shock: ) that when you select text and press the 'quote' button your quote only appears in that particular post.

Also, I have seen you paste a clickable link in some of your replies, how do you do this?

Pacify an old crock pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease :D

Hi Derman,

re: quoting, copy the selected text (CTRL+C), then in your post use the following code:

Code: Select all
[quote="users name"]
The copied quote goes here.
[/quote]

Example:
users name wrote:The copied quote goes here.

For hyperlinks, simply type the full URL:

http://www.livingwithcah.com/

You can be a little cleverer by doing it like this too:

Code: Select all
[URL=http://www.livingwithcah.com/]Click here[/URL]

Example:

Thanks a lot Tony, I wanted to know how to post links (hyperlinks, basically) in the comments.
I had to collect some information and research a bit to write an essay for class .
Thank you again!
