getting logged off!

Postby neesieusa » Wed Jul 01, 2009 7:49 pm

I'm supposed to be automatically logged in each time I visit but lately I've been logged off. Is this your problem or mine? ;)

It could be a setting in your browsers - if they're set to 'clear private data' or something when you close them down or suchlike that means it deletes the 'cookie' that means the site remembers you.
What browsers are you using? If you're using MS Internet Explorer it might be one of Microsoft's 'helpful' updates ;)

Woo, go Neesie :D Firefox is the best !!!
Go to Tools > Options > Privacy
..and check that 'Accept cookies from sites' and 'Accept cookies from third party sites' are ticked, and also select Keep Until 'They expire'.

The go to the bit where it says 'Always clear my private data' and untick it. If you want private data to be removed when you close Firefox, tick that box and go into that part's settings...but make sure 'cookies' stays unticked.

That should work :/ I hope it does, that's how mine's set anyway!
