Medic alert sponsorship for kids under 10yrs

Postby southwest » Thu Jan 21, 2016 5:48 pm

Hi I just thought I would let people know that Medic alert currently have a sponsorship scheme, whereby they will sponsor a child until they turn 10yrs old with there service this includes providing a first medic alert band and registration to there 24/7 helpline in emergencies. They only take a certain number of new members each year on the scheme and if your child already has a medic alert bracelet they wont provide another one, but they will provide registration to the helpline. If your child is currently a member and under 10yrs old and your membership is coming up for renewal it is worth checking if sponsorship is open at the time, to do this go to the following link, and check at the top of the page if the sponsorship programme is currently open, or you can phone them, if it is open all you have to do is complete the form at the bottom of there page and send it to them with a birth certificate. But they do only sponsor a set number a year so check first and you have to be under 10yrs.

I have also noticed that medic alert have a medic alert disc that is free if you follow the following link which can also be placed in the car window to alert people that someone in the car has a medical condition.

Hope this helps.

That is really helpful information and certainly worth trying to apply for.
